Important Information About Orders

  1. All Jewelry items come with an oyster opening. However, additional Oysters (pearls) can be purchased in the Miscellaneous tab in the Shop if you would like different color options for your jewelry.

  2. Our pearls come in a variety of 35 different color options and we never know what color the pearl will be before we open it!

  3. All pendant necklaces, rings, and earrings require pearl drilling. This means that the oysters must be opened by us before your order jewelry can be shipped to you. You CAN order cage necklaces and open the pearls at home if you wish since the pearls can be changed out.

  4. DO NOT WEAR HAND SANITIZER WHILE WEARING OUR PEARL RINGS!! The alcohol in the hand sanitizer causes our glue to come unbound and the pearl could possibly fall out of the mount. With that being said, please avoid using any alcohol-based products while wearing our jewelry to avoid any pearls from falling out.

  5. All openings made by us will be recorded and posted to our TikTok page @pearls.iridescence for everyone to watch. You can leave your TikTok username in the form under the Miscellaneous tab if you would like to be tagged in your videos.

How to Care for Your Pearls

Pearls are natural gemstones composed of different minerals that give them their iridescent or opaque appearance. Therefore, pearls are durable but they are not indestructible. They will keep their luster and look nice as long as they are cared for properly!

To keep beautiful long-lasting pearls it is important to avoid getting makeup, soap, perfume, body spray, lotion, sunscreen, or any other chemicals on them or the jewelry. Also, take your pearl jewelry off before you get into the shower, pool, lake, ocean, etc. because long exposure to water may cause damage or discoloration to the sterling silver jewelry that the pearl sits in. The pearls themselves can be “washed” with a damp cloth, and will not get damaged due to water exposure!
